For this project, we were asked to create a story for children and
illustrated it in a form of an E-Book. It needed at least 6 pages and a few animations within the
graphic elements of the story.

I brainstormed ideas on what kind of story can I come up with that is both kids
friendly and is not too complicated to make. I came up wit ha story of a crow and a boy; it tells the
story of how a kid and a crow repays each other’s kindness by helping one-another. I inspired myself by
looking at pictures of a happy kid and the bird online and then do some drawings on Illustrators. Upon
finishing all the graphic elements needed for the story, I gathered them all and put them in InDesign.
The challenge comes with drawing the graphic elements as I purely used my mouse and keyboard to
draw them. I would use the pen tool to draw specific lines, and it took some time to do all of them.
To make sure I had enough time to accomplish this project, I started doing them all
early and I let myself handle the extra details when I was done with the base design for example;
gradients, animations, etc…
